  • Visiting from out of town or looking to train a single class? Our drop-in option allows you to join any of our scheduled sessions for a one-time $35 day pass.

  • JIU-JITSU

    Gi: Colored Gis are allowed during our training sessions! Outside affiliation patches other than Nova Uniao are not permitted. For hygienic purposes the use of a rash guard is required underneath your uniform.

    No-Gi: Rash Guard, Shorts (Pocketless), and Spats.

    STRIKING & WOMEN’S KICKBOXING

    Boxing Gloves and Shin Guards (Striking Classes) are required.

  • At Ascension Mixed Martial Arts, atmosphere where mutual respect for fellow members and instructors is paramount. We uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards the use of profanity or inappropriate behavior.

    Inside our academy, wearing a shirt or rash guard is mandatory throughout your training sessions.

    Come prepared for class with clean training attire and a positive mindset. Ensure your nails are trimmed and refrain from training if you're feeling unwell or injured. Please cover any open wounds securely. Maintain cleanliness by keeping your feet washed; dirty feet are not permitted on the training area. Shoes must be worn outside the training zone, and food and beverages are strictly prohibited on the mats.

    Address black belt instructors as "Professor" and non-black belts as "Coach." For your safety, we advise removing all body piercings or jewelry before training. During sessions, electronic devices are not allowed on the mat.

    If you arrive late, kindly wait outside the training area until acknowledged by an instructor. Seek permission from the instructor before exiting the mat area. Keep the entrance to the training area clear; store bags and backpacks in designated locker rooms.

    Always wear your belt and stripes during training. After each roll, promptly retie your belt and prepare for the next round. During instruction, maintain good posture, minimize chatter, and focus on class material. Know your limits, collaborate with your peers, and most importantly, enjoy your training experience!
